The Messy Cook is a family owned and operated business. These spice blends came from a love of cooking and barbequing. We love to cook and create awesome food. Our spices help people do that and we are here to share them and our recipes with the world.

These are our current line-up of spices and rubs.
Herbacious Chicken

This blend combines a wonderful blend of herbs and spices to create a delicious blend that is great on all kinds of poultry from chicken to turkey. This is even amazing on potatoes and veggies.
Santa Maria Beef Blend

This is inspired by cooking over open flame like on a Santa Maria grill. This blend takes the great flavors of the southwest and puts them in a blend that goes great on everything from steak to chuck roast. Try some out on your next steak and you will agree.
SPG (Salt, Pepper and Garlic)

This blend goes on everything. This is your one and done. This blend has pink, red, green and black pepper corns combined with kosher sea salt and garlic. This can be the only seasoning or one of many in a dish. Either way it does plenty of heavy lifting to elevate a meal and make it great. From brisket to steak to chicken and dumplings this will help to make a great meal.
Taco Blend

This blend came from a deep and abiding love of great tacos. This is the perfect blend for anyone to make amazing tacos at home any night of the week. You can use to make carne asada, shrimp, chicken or even a veggie taco. This will work every time to create a savory and amazing taco.
Sweet and Smokey Pork Blend

We love to barbecue. This blend helps us make phenomenal barbecue every time. The sweet and smokey flavors build an amazing flavor profile that is the perfect combination for ribs, pulled pork, BBQ Chicken or porkchops. Everyone we know loves this on their food.
Cajun Seasoning

After a trip to New Orleans, we found we loved a ton of Cajun cooking and wanted to make fabulous jambalaya at home. After creating this spice, we found so many fun uses for and that it goes on just about anything you want to it a Cajun flair.
